The Grounds to Grow On™ service also includes recovery bins, bundled in packs of five (5), made from at least 70% recycled content, 100% recycled after use. • Q: What are the Grounds to Grow On™ recycling bins made up of?

The recycling bins are made of a minimum 70% recycled content, and are 100% recycled after use, which supports our effort to reduce our overall environmental impact.

  • Q: Which single serve pods are accepted by the program?

The Grounds to Grow On™ recycling program is for Keurig® K-Cup® pods. These include our partner brands such as Dunkin' Donuts®, Caribou Coffee®, and Starbucks®.

  • Q: How many K-Cup® pods does the included recovery bin hold?

A: You have the opportunity to choose from two different recovery bin sizes to fit your workplace based on volume:

    • SMALL RECOVERY BIN: Holds up to 175 K-Cup® pods; Weight: approximately 7lb (at full capacity).
    • LARGE RECOVERY BIN: Holds up to 450 K-Cup® pods; Weight: approximately 28lbs (at full capacity).

  • Q: Why does the recycling service include 5 bins at a time?

In an effort to reduce our carbon footprint and reduce your overall cost per bin, we've found it best to group the number of bins to 5 per order.

  • Q: Where is the program available?

The Grounds to Grow On™ recycling program is currently available in the lower 48-states only. We are continuously searching for ways to improve the program.

  • Q: What options do you offer customers in Canada?

A: At this time, we do not offer the Grounds to Grow On™ recycling program for Canadian workplaces, but we do have some K-Cup® pod recovery programs through coffee service vendors, and we continue to research additional recovery and recycling options.

  • Q: How long should we have the same recovery bin around our office?

Due to the presence of coffee grounds, we recommend replacing your Grounds to Grow On™ recycling bin every 2-3 weeks.

  • Q: Why is this recycling service not available for my home?

The volume of brewed K-Cup® pod consumption in the home is typically less than in an office setting. Therefore, the time to fill each bin can take longer than the 2-3 weeks we recommend for replacement of each Grounds to Grow On™ recycling bin.

  • Q: Once the Grounds to Grow On™ recycling bin is full, what do I do with it?

Your included Grounds to Grow On™ recycling bin should have been shipped with a pre-affixed UPS shipping label. If this label is on your box, great! Simply present the box to your UPS driver or call 1-800-PICK-UPS to arrange a pickup. If the label is not pre-affixed, please contact g2 revolution® at groundstogrowon@g2rev.com for a replacement label.
